Dr. Scott Overholser – From Dentist to Real Estate Manager/Consultant
Having earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry, Dr. Scott Overholser immediately worked at Frankton Family Dentistry where he served as Associate/Managing Dentist for a year. He then focused on his private practice in Indianapolis, a stint that lasted for almost a decade.
The next nine years for Dr. Scott Overholser proved to be very valuable, both for his career in dentistry and for his other ventures. It is during this period when he acquired the skills that made him a proficient manager of his dental office. However, by the end of his ninth year as a private practitioner, the course of his career steered towards an entirely different path. It led him to the real estate industry.
Dr. Scott Overholser joined Garrison Partners Consulting in Chicago, Illinois in 2004 as Regional Manager, a position he had held for two years. He then moved to Renaissant Development Group as Director of Sales. During his stint in the real estate industry, he drew on some of the skills he developed while managing the operation of his dental clinic, alongside developing new ones. Dr. Scott Overholser didn’t veer away entirely from his vocation though because a few years later, he went back to practicing dentistry and joined Park West Dental Associates. At present, he works at The Dental Salon where he continues to deliver excellent dental service to his patients as an associate dentist.
